Mid-Atlantic Racing Conspiracy???

Here is a quick tally of what isn't happening in the world of Mid-Atlantic road bicycle racing (and I might be missing a few events)...

Outright canceled:

1. Vint Hill Classic
2. UMD President's Criterium
3. Tour of Walkersville
4. Michael P. Murad Memorial Road Race (now All American Road Race?)
5. The Tysons Corner Circuit Race

Postponed:

1. Jefferson Cup
2. Harwood Road Race (remains to be seen if this will still run)
3. All American Road Race (remains to be seen if this will still run)

Though it feels like interest in bicycle racing in the region is as high as ever, it is a shame to see so many mainstay events fall off the map.
